This can be easily avoided if we introduce some simple changes to our lifestyle and one significant change is to start consuming these beverages for better sleep.

As I explained earlier, the recipe I have showcased here are not new and are old-age practiced recipes. We all know these beverages would do wonders, but we may have stopped focusing on them due to our busy lives. For instance, I used to have golden milk or turmeric milk daily after dinner or before sleep. But things have changed now, and I tend to ignore it due to my busy schedule. I assume it would be the same scenario with you guys too. The other recipe is the badam milk or almond milk which helps to reduce the acidic level from your dinner and helps you get good sleep. A new addition to these relaxing beverages, i.e., banana tea. boiling the whole banana with its peel helps relax the muscle and eventually for a peaceful sleep

INGREDIENTS

for almond milk:

  • 1/2 cup almond/badam
  • Water (for soaking)
  • 1 Date (Pitted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cup water

for banana tea:

  • 3 cup water
  • One banana (cut sides)
  • A small piece of cinnamon
  • Three pods cardamom

for golden milk:

  • 2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 inch ginger (grated)
  • A small piece of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil

for nutmeg tea:

  • 3 cups of water
  • 1/2 tsp jaiphal/nutmeg (grated)
  • 2-inch cinnamon
  • Three pods cardamom

how to make almond milk:

  • firstly, in a bowl, soak ½ cup almond for at least 4 hours. Soaking almonds helps in easier digestion.
  • Now drain off the water and transfer it to the mixer jar.
  • Add one date, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ¼ tsp salt, and 2 cups water.
  • Blend to smooth paste.
  • Now extract the milk by squeezing the milk from almonds.
  • Finally, enjoy almond milk before going to bed, promoting good sleep.

how to make banana tea:

  • firstly, in a large saucepan, take 3 cups water, one banana, ½ inch cinnamon, and three cardamom pods. Make sure to cut the sides of the banana.
  • Boil for 5 minutes or until the banana softens and flavors are infused.
  • Finally, enjoy banana tea before going to bed as it acts as a relaxing tea. You can also eat the boiled banana or make a pancake.
